Retention

• Activity samples: default 90 days (configurable)
• Time entries: default 2 years (configurable)
• Old data is hard-deleted on the schedule — not soft-deleted

GDPR

• Article 20 portability export job for any tenant
• Per-user data export on request
• Single-region (US) hosting in v1; documented residency story for EU expansion

Audit log

• Every “Pause tracking” action by every user
• Every monitoring policy change by an admin
• Every role and pay-rate change
• Surfaced in the admin UI, exportable, never edited
